Quintay

Hi FAU bloggers:

Today I'm going to write about my favourite beach.

It is located near to Valparaíso, at 122 kilometres of Santiago, in Chile. This place is not principally a beach; here the sea is not good for a bath. Quintay, my place, is a cove. But how is at the seashore I think that could be good for this post. On this town live eight hundred persons, whose work, principally, fishing.

I went, for the first and only time, two years ago with my family, on the 2014 holidays. That time we stayed there only some hours, but that short time was enough and I fell in love of Quintay.

What impressed me most was the wind. My favorite natural phenomenon is the wind, and in this cove the wind was my Cupido. How this cove is at the seashore and is surrounded of big hills, the wind push by the ocean (fast and strong) cross Quintay and fight the hills, staying there, making a great sensation. On Quintay, the nature let see their power using the wind.

For arrive to Quintay we have to cross a giant forest, on a large and solitary highway.
Becoming there we have to down the hills by a very steep way.

All in Quintay surprised me.
